If you are interested in joining the Wordbase Team of approved translators, we are now in the process of increasing our database of freelance linguists and would like to receive your details.
We are currently working in these languages (source and target):

We are looking for translators and editors/proofreaders who must be native speakers for the target languages. You should be willing to do a short test translation (up to 350 words) and to edit/proofread the test translation of a fellow translator in Word using Word's track changes or a PDF file (requires full version of Adobe Acrobat).
We consider it important that you use Trados, but are willing to consider other CAT tools.

We will then send you the test. If approved, we'll send you a form to fill, a Non-Disclosure Agreement and our conditions. Should you agree with these, you'll then be part of our team!
But the selection process does not end with being entered in our database. Your work is subject to a continuous assessment program. You will receive feedback on the quality of your work. The aim of this is to ensure that you receive constructive feedback on your assignments for us and to encourage continuous improvement in your performance. If the quality falls below an acceptable level, you may be removed from our database of suppliers.
